Breakfast. Morning tour through Bangkok’s main avenues, crossing Chinatown. First stop: Wat Traimit (Golden Buddha Temple), home to a 5-ton solid gold Buddha. Next: Wat Pho, the Reclining Buddha Temple, 46 meters long with 108 engraved images on its feet. Visit to state gemstone factory. Free afternoon and accommodation.
Breakfast. Depart to Kanchanaburi to visit the Bridge over the River Kwai, war cemetery and museum. Boat ride to the bridge, visit to Hellfire Pass. Lunch and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Breakfast. Depart to Ayutthaya, former Siam capital. Visit the UNESCO archaeological site. Lunch. Visit Wat Muang in Ang Thong. Continue to Phitsanulok. Accommodation.
Optional early morning monk offering. Breakfast. Visit to Sukhothai Historical Park. Continue to Chiang Rai. Lunch en route. Free time. Accommodation.
