Important Notes:
- The number of visitors allowed to enter the Alhambra is legally limited; the visit cannot be guaranteed and it would be replaced by the Real Alcázar of Seville with similar characteristics.
- During ferry crossings, the coach is usually not boarded, so you must carry your luggage by hand during the crossing.
- In rare winter cases there may be snow issues on Atlas mountain passes; if roads are closed, an alternative program would be operated.
- Flight schedules are subject to operational changes and taxes are subject to governmental changes.
- Payments are received in Colombian pesos at the exchange rate (TRM) of the day of the bank transaction.

This is how the adventure begins: we will fly from BOGOTÁ directly to MADRID with IBERIA. Departure is at 18:10. I will meet you at 14:10 (2:10 PM) at El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá to assist you with immigration and boarding procedures. Overnight on board.
We will arrive at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas International Airport at 9:30 am. After completing immigration procedures, we will go to the hotel to check in. In the afternoon, we will take a panoramic city tour to see the most representative landmarks and monumental sites. In the evening, we include a transfer to Plaza Mayor, where we can have dinner and enjoy some wine at a typical Madrid tavern. You will return to the hotel at your own pace. Accommodation.
Breakfast. We will depart early for an excursion to the historic city of TOLEDO, protected by the Tagus River. Its medieval streets tell stories of Christians, Jews, and Muslims. You will be able to have lunch at your own discretion in this wonderful place. You will enjoy a free afternoon in MADRID, where you can spend time shopping. Accommodation.
Breakfast. We will leave Madrid early in the morning. We will travel south crossing La Mancha, with a stop in PUERTO LÁPICE, a Manchegan village that evokes Don Quixote. Lunch included in GRANADA. In the afternoon, we will visit the immense Alhambra Palace and its beautiful Generalife gardens, built during the Arab period. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: The number of people authorized to visit the Alhambra is limited by law. We cannot guarantee the visit; in that case, the Real Alcázar of Seville, with similar characteristics, will be visited instead. Accommodation.
Breakfast. We will travel along the Costa del Sol towards Algeciras or Tarifa, where we will board a modern ferry to cross the Strait of Gibraltar (ticket included). Normally, the bus will not be boarded, so you must carry your luggage by hand. Once in Morocco, we will travel through beautiful landscapes to ASILAH, a small, picturesque walled town on the Atlantic that was once a pirate port. You will have time to have lunch at your own pace. We will then continue to RABAT. Dinner included and accommodation.
Breakfast. We will visit RABAT, seeing its immense Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the powerful Kasbah of the Oudayas. At midday, we will depart for CASABLANCA, where we will have a brief guided visit of the city. We will see the exterior of the great Hassan II Mosque, one of the most important in the Arab world. We will continue to MARRAKECH. After arriving at the hotel, we will take a horse-drawn carriage ride to the famous Jemaa El Fna Square. Dinner included. Accommodation.
Breakfast. We will visit the city that gave its name to the country. We will see its great walls and the Jemaa Square with its lively atmosphere, walk through the bustling Medina, see the Koutoubia tower, and include entrance and a visit to the Bahia Palace. Lunch included. In the afternoon, you may relax by the hotel pool and garden or go shopping in the Marrakech souks. Accommodation. Optional excursion: (Fantasy party. Breakfast. We depart to cross the Atlas Mountains; high peaks, often snow-covered, greet us as we leave the Marrakech palm grove behind. Small Berber villages cling to the cliffs. We will visit the fortified village of AIT BEN HADU, where many movies have been filmed. On this stage and tomorrow’s, we will travel through the so-called biblical landscapes. Time in OUARZAZATE, a city with an impressive Kasbah (fortified enclosure). We continue to the Valley of the Roses. BOUMALNE DADES. Dinner included and accommodation. Important note: On rare occasions (during winter), there may be snow problems on the Atlas passes; if the road is closed for this reason, an alternative program will be arranged (reaching or not reaching the Sahara depending on closed alternative mountain passes).
Breakfast. This will be an exciting day in the Sahara Desert: the Valley of the Kasbahs, river valleys with thousands of palm trees, stone plains followed by oases, and adobe villages with powerful fortresses guarding the route. We will visit the Todra Gorges, a mighty canyon with walls on both sides over 100 meters high. We continue to ERFOUD. Lunch included. Optional excursion: (Sunset 4x4 excursion to the Sahara dunes. Breakfast. We will depart early from Erfoud, crossing a high and cold plateau inhabited by nomadic shepherds. We will stop in MIDELT, a lovely and picturesque agricultural town. We continue, stopping for lunch in the Middle Atlas next to a lake in a beautiful natural setting. Lunch included. The landscape changes completely; we are in a region with abundant forests and frequent winter snowfall. Near AZRÚ, in the National Park, we will visit the “House of the Cedars,” a small museum that explains the region, and we may see a colony of monkeys that live in this area. We continue to BHALIL, a small and quiet town inhabited by Berbers from the Middle Atlas, with a picturesque old center and colorful streets; traditionally people lived in caves, and today those caves are integrated into homes. Continuation to FEZ. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast. Today we will visit FEZ. We will enter through the Bronze doors of the Royal Palace, visit the Jewish quarter, its lively souks, and the tanners’ district. The cultural capital of the country is known for its impressive Medina, which preserves a traditional Arab atmosphere. Lunch included in an old palace in the Medina. In the afternoon, we depart for TANGER. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast. You will have free time in TANGIER for some last-minute shopping. At the indicated time, we board the ferry back to Spain. Remember the bus will not be boarded, so you must carry your luggage by hand on the ferry. Once we disembark in Algeciras or Tarifa, we will head to SEVILLE. Dinner included. Accommodation.
Breakfast. Seville is the capital of Andalusia and considered one of the most beautiful cities in Spain. We will see Plaza de España, the Cathedral and its famous Giralda, as well as the banks of the Guadalquivir River and the popular neighborhoods of Santa Cruz and Triana. We will take a boat ride on the river, enjoying a different perspective of this wonderful city. You may spend the rest of the afternoon exploring at your own pace and dine at one of its most popular restaurants or return to the hotel. Accommodation. Optional excursion: (Flamenco tablao show. Breakfast. We will depart Seville through pleasant landscapes of gentle mountains towards Extremadura. In MÉRIDA, we will visit (included) the archaeological complex of the Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre, excellently preserved and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will have free time for lunch and to stroll through the lively pedestrian historic center at your own pace. We continue to ÉVORA, a UNESCO World Heritage city with white streets, Renaissance palaces, and its cathedral. We will have time for lunch at your own pace. We will visit the impressive Chapel of Bones, built with 5,000 skeletons. By the end of the day, we arrive in LISBON. Optional excursion: (Closer to the travel date, information will be provided about an activity to celebrate the end of the year 2026). Accommodation.
Breakfast. In the morning, we will take a panoramic tour of the city, discovering the Portuguese capital of seven hills, its alleys and tiles, its “saudade,” and Atlantic light. We will also visit the Belém district, from where great Portuguese navigators sailed across the oceans in the 15th century. You will have the afternoon free to stroll and visit Bairro Alto and its viewpoint. Optional excursion: (Trip to Sintra, Cascais and Estoril. Closer to the travel date, its price and description will be provided). In the evening, we return to the hotel from Restauradores Square, lively with bars and cafés. Accommodation.
Breakfast. We will leave Portugal early, crossing the beautiful Alentejo region. We will stop for coffee in ESTREMOZ, a charming town with a medieval castle, cobblestone streets, and a calm atmosphere that reflects authentic Portugal. In CÁCERES, Spain, you will have free time for lunch and to explore its historic center, one of the best-preserved medieval and Renaissance urban ensembles in the world. We arrive in MADRID at the end of the day. Accommodation.
Breakfast. We will fly back close to midnight, so you will have the day free. If you are a football fan, I recommend visiting the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium Museum. At the indicated time, we will head to the airport for our flight to Bogotá.
We will arrive in Bogotá at 4:25 AM. Please keep this in mind to coordinate the purchase of your onward connection ticket if your final destination is a city other than Bogotá.
