Arrival at Stockholm airport and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. The guide will be available at the hotel from 6:30 p.m.
City tour of Stockholm, known worldwide as the “Queen of the Waters,” built on 14 beautiful islands connected by bridges. Visit of Gamla Stan, the old town, home to many of the city’s most emblematic buildings and most important architectural structures. Accommodation in Stockholm.
Breakfast and departure toward Norway. We will cross Sweden’s picturesque cereal fields and lakes before reaching Norway’s impressive landscapes of forests and mountains. En route we pass Hamar, on the shores of Lake Mjøsa, where we see the building shaped like an upside-down Viking ship that hosted the 1994 Winter Olympic speed-skating events. Arrival at the hotel and accommodation in Lillehammer, former Olympic host city and one of the best-known winter sports centers in the country.
Breakfast and departure to Lom, a picturesque village known for its medieval wooden church, one of the largest and one of the few that still preserves original dragon-head carvings. We continue along the spectacular Dalsnibba mountain road, rising above 1,000 meters and offering fascinating scenery, until we reach Geiranger for a 1-hour cruise along the Geirangerfjord, admiring the Seven Sisters and the Suitor waterfalls. Disembarkation in Hellesylt and continuation to Loen. Typical Norwegian buffet dinner and accommodation in Loen.
Breakfast and departure to Flåm to board a ferry along the Sognefjord, Norway’s longest and deepest fjord. Arrival in Gudvangen, disembarkation and continuation of the journey toward Bergen. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast and panoramic tour of Bergen, the capital of the fjords, surrounded by seven hills and located on the shores of the North Sea. We will see the Fortress, Bryggen with its famous fish market, St. Mary’s Church, Grieghallen and the interior of the Hanseatic Quarter. At the end of the city tour, we will enjoy an included ride on Bergen’s famous funicular for breathtaking views. Free afternoon and accommodation.
Breakfast. Today we enjoy the contrasts of the landscape along one of the most beautiful and scenic roads. We cross Hardanger National Park, with its majestic fjords, forests and mountains, and then the Hardangervidda plateau, making photo stops along the way. Arrival in Oslo and panoramic tour of Norway’s capital: Vigeland Park with its famous sculptures representing the cycle of human life and the great monolith with 212 intertwined bodies, as well as the Opera House, City Hall, harbor, Royal Palace, Parliament and Akershus Fortress. Accommodation in Oslo.
Breakfast and free morning until departure for the port. At 2:30 p.m., embark on the NORDIC cruise to sail across the North Sea toward Copenhagen. Accommodation in outside cabin with window. Buffet dinner on board.
Breakfast and arrival in Copenhagen at 9:45 a.m. Disembarkation and panoramic tour of the city, visiting its main monuments and historic sites: City Hall Square, Christiansborg Palace (current seat of Parliament), Gefion Fountain, Nyhavn harbor with its picturesque and colorful 17th-century houses and, of course, the city’s emblem, the famous Little Mermaid. Optionally, visit to the majestic Frederiksborg Castle in northern Zealand. Accommodation.
