After breakfast, we will take a panoramic tour of the city, highlighting Vienna’s most iconic landmarks. We will visit the gardens of the historic Belvedere Palace, former summer residence of Prince Eugene of Savoy. Enjoy the magnificent view of the city, immortalized by Giovanni Antonio Canal in his paintings of Vienna. We will continue along Ringstrasse, passing the State Opera, the Museum of Fine Arts and Natural History, the Maria Theresa Monument, the Austrian Parliament, Vienna City Hall, the National Theatre, and the Hofburg. We will stroll through the charming streets of the historic center and visit St. Stephen’s Cathedral. We will also pass the Anchor Clock and the Jewish Quarter. The tour ends at Maria-Theresien-Platz. Afterwards, you may join an optional visit to Schönbrunn Palace (not included). In the afternoon, we offer the possibility of attending a classical music concert (not included).
After breakfast at the hotel, the day is free for you to enjoy at your leisure.
After breakfast, we will continue our journey towards Hungary. Enjoy the ride aboard our coach as we arrive in Budapest, often called the ‘Pearl of the Danube’. In the afternoon, we will explore the city. Budapest is divided into two parts: ‘Buda’, home to embassies, historic sites and elegant residences, and ‘Pest’, home to most hotels and shops. We will visit Heroes' Square and the Millennium Monument, adorned with statues of the seven conquerors and their leader Árpád. We will continue along Andrassy Avenue, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you will see the Hungarian State Opera, the House of Terror Museum, the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, and the Franz Liszt Memorial Museum. We will also visit the iconic Hungarian Parliament building. Before continuing to the market and pedestrian area, we will visit St. Stephen’s Basilica. After the tour, we return to the hotel.
After breakfast, we will explore the castle district of ‘Buda’, visiting Matthias Church and Fisherman’s Bastion, which offers one of the best panoramic views of the city. We then continue to the Royal Palace and observe the various bridges connecting the two sides of the city. After the visit, you will have free time. For a culinary delight, try the traditional ‘goulash’. You won’t regret it!
After breakfast, we continue our journey to Prague, with a brief stop in Bratislava, where you will have free time. Once in Prague, we will take a sightseeing tour of the historic center, showcasing the city’s most beautiful monuments and oldest districts. Did you know? Prague is home to some of the best beers in the world. Cheers!
Enjoy a varied breakfast at the hotel and prepare for the city tour. The visit begins in the Hradčany Castle district, including St. Vitus Cathedral, Prague Castle and Golden Lane. We will then visit the Lesser Town through Nerudova Street, passing St. Nicholas Church until reaching Charles Bridge, one of the oldest bridges in Europe. We will continue along Karlova Street to the Old Town Square with its astronomical clock, the Church of Our Lady before Tyn, and the Jan Hus monument. The tour ends in the New Town.
After breakfast, the day is completely at your disposal. For those curious about imperial relaxation, we offer an optional excursion to Karlovy Vary, the classic spa town of the former Austro-Hungarian monarchy (not included). Overnight in Prague.
During breakfast, you will say goodbye to Prague and continue towards Dresden, one of Germany’s most beautiful cities, known as the ‘Florence of the Elbe’. Despite the heavy bombings during WWII, Dresden shines again in its architectural beauty. Highlights include the Zwinger Palace, the Semper Opera House, and the Hofkirche. Fun fact: the first milk chocolate was invented in Dresden. We then continue to Berlin. Overnight.
After breakfast, prepare for a panoramic visit of Berlin, highlighting Kurfürstendamm, Unter den Linden, the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, Humboldt University, and the Pergamon Museum. At the end of the tour, we offer a boat ride on the Spree River. In the afternoon, enjoy free time to explore the city. Berliners consume 70 million currywurst sausages each year—there is even a museum dedicated to this iconic dish.
