Arrival at Vienna airport, transfer to the hotel and accommodation. Welcome dinner at the famous Marchfelderhof Restaurant with drinks included.
Breakfast and panoramic city tour. Visit to the Belvedere Gardens, the former summer residence of Prince Eugene of Savoy, offering magnificent views immortalized by Canaletto. Continue along the Ringstrasse with its sumptuous monuments: Opera House, Fine Arts and Natural Sciences Museums, Maria Theresa Monument, Parliament, City Hall, National Theatre and Imperial Palace Hofburg. Walk through the Old Town with interior visit to St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Pass by the Anker Clock, Jewish Quarter, Freyung Square and Heroes’ Square. Interior visit of Schönbrunn Palace. Return to the hotel. In the evening, attend an unforgettable classical music concert in one of Vienna’s most prestigious palaces.
Breakfast and full-day excursion to the Danube Valley, UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage site. Short walk through Dürnstein, known for the imprisonment of King Richard the Lionheart. River cruise along the Danube through charming landscapes of vineyards and picturesque villages, including a 3-course lunch. Disembark in Melk and visit its magnificent Benedictine Abbey. Return to Vienna.
Breakfast and departure by coach to Budapest, arriving at midday. Lunch at the hotel. Afternoon city tour. Visit of Pest: Heroes’ Square and Millennium Monument, Andrassy Avenue, State Opera House, House of Terror Museum, University of Fine Arts and Franz Liszt Memorial Museum. Visit the Hungarian Parliament and St. Stephen’s Basilica. Continue to the Central Market Hall and pedestrian Vaci Street. Return to the hotel.
Breakfast and visit of Buda: Fisherman’s Bastion and Matthias Church. Walk toward the Great Market Hall, famous for its rich selection of fresh produce, crafts and typical Hungarian products. Free afternoon. Dinner at the hotel and accommodation.
Breakfast and departure to Prague via Bratislava, with lunch and free time in the Old Town. Continue to Prague and hotel check-in. Afternoon walk along the medieval Royal Route, following the path of kings after their coronation in St. Vitus Cathedral, discovering the city’s oldest districts and most beautiful viewpoints.
Breakfast and city tour beginning in the Hradcany Castle district: interiors of St. Vitus Cathedral, Prague Castle and Golden Lane. Walk down Nerudova Street to Lesser Town, pass St. Nicholas Church and reach Charles Bridge. Continue along Karlova Street to Old Town Square to see the Astronomical Clock, Church of Our Lady before Tyn and Jan Hus Monument. Proceed to New Town. Lunch in a traditional brewery including half a liter of beer. Afternoon visit to the Jewish Quarter and the Old-New Synagogue. Continue to Mala Strana with interior visit to St. Nicholas Church and the Infant Jesus of Prague.
Breakfast and accommodation in Prague. Excursion to Karlovy Vary, the classic spa town of the former Austro-Hungarian monarchy. Lunch in a traditional restaurant.
Breakfast and departure to Dresden, known as the ‘Florence of the Elbe’. Lunch and continuation to Berlin.
