Arrival at Vienna airport and transfer to the hotel. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Austrian welcome dinner at the Marchfelderhof restaurant, including drinks.
Panoramic tour of Vienna including the gardens of Belvedere Palace and the Ringstrasse with the State Opera, museums, Parliament, City Hall, National Theatre and the Hofburg. Walk through the old town with an interior visit to St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Anchor Clock and the Jewish Quarter, ending at Maria-Theresien-Platz. Optional visit to Schönbrunn Palace and/or classical music concert.
Free day in Vienna with the option to join an excursion to the Danube Valley and the Wachau region, known for its apricot-based products.
Departure to Budapest and arrival around lunchtime. Afternoon tour of Pest with Heroes’ Square, Andrassy Avenue, the State Opera, the House of Terror, the University of Fine Arts, the Parliament building and St. Stephen’s Basilica. Time in the Market area and Vaci pedestrian street.
Visit to the Buda Castle District including Matthias Church and Fisherman’s Bastion. Enjoy panoramic views over Pest and walk towards the Royal Palace. Free time to taste local cuisine.
Departure to Prague with a short stop in Bratislava for free time. Arrival in Prague and panoramic introductory tour through the historic center and the city’s oldest districts.
Visit to Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral and the Golden Lane. Descent to the Lesser Town via Nerudova Street, passing St. Nicholas Church and crossing Charles Bridge to the Old Town with its Astronomical Clock, Tyn Church and the Jan Hus monument. The tour ends in the New Town.
Free day in Prague. Optional excursion to Karlovy Vary, the classic spa town of the former Austro-Hungarian monarchy.
Departure to Wieliczka to visit the famous salt mines, including underground chapels, chambers and lakes. Continuation to Krakow and accommodation.
City tour of Krakow including Wawel Hill, St. Mary’s Church and the old town with one of the largest medieval squares in Europe. Visit to Wawel Castle and free time.
Departure to Czestochowa to visit the Jasna Gora sanctuary and the Black Madonna icon. Continuation to Warsaw and accommodation.
City tour of Warsaw following the Royal Route, the old town, Lazienki Park with the Chopin monument and St. Anne’s Church. Free afternoon.
Breakfast and transfer to the airport.
