Arrival at Vienna airport, transfer to the hotel and accommodation. Welcome dinner at the famous Marchfelderhof Restaurant with drinks included.
Breakfast and panoramic city tour. We will visit the Belvedere Gardens, the summer residence of Prince Eugene of Savoy, featuring magnificent views immortalized by Canaletto. We continue along the Ringstrasse with its stunning monuments: the Opera House, Fine Arts and Natural Sciences Museums, Maria Theresa Monument, Parliament, City Hall, National Theatre and the Imperial Palace Hofburg. We will walk through the Old Town and visit St. Stephen’s Cathedral. We will also pass the Anker Clock, the Jewish Quarter, Freyung Square and Heroes’ Square. Next, we visit Schönbrunn Palace. Return to the hotel. In the evening, attendance at an unforgettable classical music concert in one of Vienna’s most prestigious palaces.
Breakfast and full-day excursion to the Danube Valley, a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage site. Short walk in Dürnstein, famous for the imprisonment of King Richard the Lionheart. Then enjoy a relaxing Danube river cruise through vineyards and picturesque villages, including a 3-course lunch. Disembark in Melk and visit its magnificent Benedictine Abbey, an Austrian baroque masterpiece. Return to Vienna.
Breakfast and departure to Budapest, arriving at midday. Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, city tour of Pest: Heroes’ Square and Millennium Monument, Andrassy Avenue, the State Opera House, the House of Terror Museum, the University of Fine Arts and the Franz Liszt Memorial Museum. Visit the emblematic Parliament building and St. Stephen’s Basilica. Continue toward the Central Market to see Vaci Street and the impressive market architecture. Return to the hotel.
Breakfast and visit of Buda: Fisherman’s Bastion and Matthias Church. Walk along the pedestrian street toward the Great Market Hall, famous for its vast selection of fresh produce, crafts and typical Hungarian products such as paprika, Tokaji wine and spirits. Free afternoon. Dinner at the hotel and accommodation.
Breakfast and departure to Prague with a stop in Bratislava. Lunch and free time in the Old Town. Continue to Prague and hotel check-in. In the afternoon, we will follow the medieval Royal Route taken by kings after their coronation, discovering the most historic areas and beautiful viewpoints of the city.
Breakfast and city tour beginning in the Hradcany Castle district, visiting the interiors of St. Vitus Cathedral, Prague Castle and Golden Lane. We continue through Nerudova Street into the Lesser Town. We will pass St. Nicholas Church and walk to Charles Bridge, enjoying beautiful views. We proceed along Karlova Street to the Old Town Square with its Astronomical Clock, the Church of Our Lady before Tyn and the Jan Hus Monument. Continue to New Town. Lunch in a traditional brewery including half a liter of beer. Afternoon visit of the Jewish Quarter including the Old-New Synagogue. Arrival at Mala Strana and interior visit of St. Nicholas Church. End of the walk at the Infant Jesus of Prague.
Breakfast and accommodation in Prague. Excursion to Karlovy Vary, the classic spa town of the former Austro-Hungarian monarchy. Lunch in a traditional restaurant.
