Arrival in Munich and accommodation (airport transfer not included). The guide will be available at the hotel from 7:00 p.m.
Breakfast and panoramic tour of Munich, capital of Bavaria, located along the Isar River. Highlights include the Cathedral of Our Lady, the Church of the Holy Spirit, and the churches of St. Michael and St. Nepomuk. Free afternoon and accommodation.
Breakfast and visit to Neuschwanstein Castle, built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria and inspired by the medieval castles of the Teutonic Knights. Continue to Linderhof Palace, the smallest of Ludwig II’s palaces, designed to emulate Versailles. Later, visit Oberammergau, famous for its Passion Play, and Ettal Abbey. Return to Munich and accommodation.
Breakfast and departure to Vienna, passing through the Danube Valley. Short walk through Dürnstein, known for the imprisonment of King Richard the Lionheart. Continue to Vienna. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Austrian welcome dinner at the Marchfelderhof restaurant, with drinks included.
Breakfast and panoramic tour of Vienna. Visit the gardens of the Belvedere Palace and continue along the Ringstrasse with its iconic buildings such as the State Opera, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Parliament, the City Hall and the Hofburg. Walk through the historic center and visit the interior of St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Optional visit to Schönbrunn Palace in the afternoon, and optional classical concert in the evening.
Breakfast and departure to Hallstatt, one of Austria’s most beautiful villages, located in the Salzkammergut region. Free time to enjoy the mountain scenery. Continue to Salzburg. Accommodation.
Breakfast and panoramic tour of Salzburg. Visit Mirabell Palace, Mozarteum, Marionette Theater, Mozart’s residence, Holy Trinity Church and the Hellbrunn Palace area. Return to the center via Frohnburg Palace, Nonnberg Abbey and the Neutor tunnel. The tour ends at Mozart Square. Free afternoon and accommodation.
Breakfast and departure to Innsbruck with a stop at Swarovski Crystal Worlds, created by André Heller. Continue to Innsbruck and accommodation.
Breakfast and city tour of Innsbruck. Highlights include the Triumphal Arch, the Golden Roof, Court Church, Emperor Maximilian I’s tomb and the Hofburg Palace. Excursion to the Nordkette mountain range: funicular to Hungerburg, cable car to Seegrube with included lunch, and final ascent to Hafelekar Peak (2,256 m). Return to hotel. Optional Tyrolean folklore show.
Breakfast and departure to Liechtenstein, one of the smallest countries in the world. Free time. Continue to Zurich. Accommodation.
Breakfast and city tour of Zurich, including the historic center, cathedral, old town hall, St. Martin’s Gate, Bahnhofstrasse, Fraumünster Church and university district. Visit to the Lindt Chocolate House with tasting.
Breakfast and transfer to the airport.
